OneDrive will freeze one or two files when down/uploading

When OneDrive is uploading multiple files, it will some times freeze a file and continue to run in the background until I pause OneDrive and then hit resume. It will continue running until I notice it or computer shuts down, using massive amounts of battery. A fix would be appreciated.
