OneDrive for Android: Camera Backup keeps uploading screenshots
Hi all,
Every so often when I check OneDrive, I see my Android phone has uploaded screenshots as well as camera photos.
In the Android app, when I check the Camera Backup setting, the "Back up device folders" has the setting "Camera, Screenshots"
However, when I click that value, and go into the "Organise new backups in subfolders" list, the Screenshots folder is _not_ actually selected as one to be uploaded.
If I turn the folder on, then off, OneDrive will temporarily not upload images from my Screenshot folder. But eventually, it decide that again it should do this.
How do I make this behaviour stop permanently?
P.

I have the same issue on my Google Pixel 7a (and it used happen on my Nokia Android phones too).
It seems to correly ignore other photo albums/libraries on the device that I have told it to ignore e.g. Messenger, WhatsApp, Slack etc
However, it continues to upload items from the Screenshots album/library.

- Go to Settings > Apps > OneDrive > Storage and clear cache/data.
- Make sure OneDrive is updated or reinstall it.
- paul_moloneyCopper ContributorHi there,
This did not work. I just checked and OneDrive has again added folders I don't wanted backed up to "Back up device folders". In fact, it now reads:
Camera, ImageApp, Facebook, Screenshots
And again, when I click the option, none of these folders are actually checked/turned on.
So there are two separate issues.
1. OneDrive backs up folders that the user has not specified.
2. OneDrive lists these folders under "Back up device folders", but when you click on that option and drill down to the next page, those folders are not selected/turned on.
