OneDrive for Android: Camera Backup keeps uploading screenshots

I finally found a permanent solution to the problem.
You just have to never fully empty your screenshots folder.
As long as you leave 1 image in there, OneDrive will successfully respect the settings.
If you fully empty/delete the folder, the next screenshot you take it begins auto uploading them again.
I've now gone over a month with this fix in place and it's all working as described.
So not perfect but close enough.
