Onedrive file sync issue

- Pause OneDrive, then move any important unsynced files to a temporary folder outside the OneDrive folder. Do not delete anything else until the cloud copy is correct.
- Open OneDrive in a browser, confirm storage is below the limit, and remove the unwanted files there. Exceeding the storage limit prevents uploading, editing, and syncing new files.
- In OneDrive Settings, select Account, then Unlink this PC. Unlinking does not delete your cloud files.
- Sign in again, but select Choose new folder instead of reusing the existing OneDrive folder. This creates a clean local copy and prevents the old folder from immediately restoring deleted content.
- After OneDrive reports Up to date, copy only the needed unsynced files from the temporary folder into the new OneDrive folder. If syncing still fails, contact your IT administrator because the account quota or OneDrive service configuration may need checking.
