OneDrive acting strange
I have a Business OneDrive on an External Drive but on my PC I have 2 links to it, one on the Desktop that has all the folders but it does link to the external Drive & one on my PC further down in Explorer which also links to the External Drive. But when I save a file it doesn't show in both of the places for the External Drive Both of these have the same amount of folders in them.
Why when I save a file irrespective of which place the folders are, do they not mirror in the other folders area, as they are both linked to the External Drive.
Plus OneDrive from my Task Bar isn't saving the files to the Cloud. I want to save them locally to the External Drive but also want them to upload to the Cloud & it isn't doing that.
Space isn't the issue for either the Cloud or the External Drive.
Can anyone give me some help please?
Thank you! ☺️

Maybe this tip will help you, even though there could be several or different causes.
Clear OneDrive Cache
- Stop OneDrive:
Right-click the OneDrive icon in the taskbar and select Quit OneDrive.
- Clear Cache:
Open Run (Win + R) and type:
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
Press Enter. This will reset OneDrive and clear cache issues.
- Restart OneDrive:
Open OneDrive from the Start menu and allow it to reinitialize.
