"Moved" Domain from one subscription to another subscription, but OneDrive tries to connect to old
Hi *,
i had a O365 Business Premium Subscription with Microsoft Domain
oldDomain.onmicrosoft.com
On this Subscription i had configured my Domain "myDomain.com" and created a user "user@myDomain.com".
When i login to OneDrive for Business it used to login in background with username@oldDomain.onmicrosoft.com.
Now i created a new O365 E3 (newDomain.onmicrosoft.com) Subsccription and removed the domain myDomain.com from the old Business Premium subscription and also removed the user with the email address, so that there is no domain and user within anothe subscription.
Then i deleted/canceld the old Business Premium subscription.
Next i added the domain myDomain.com to the new E3 subscription successfully and created a new user with the same email which also was used in the old subscription user@myDomain.com.
Now when i logon to OneDrive for Business with the email address from above it tries to sync with OneDrive at oldDomain.onmicrosoft.com instead of newDomain.onmicrosoft.com ! When i look at the OneDrive Settings i see that i am logged in with username@oldDomain.onmicrosoft.com instead of username@newDomain.onmicrosoft.com !
How can i fix this?

Wow, that must have taken a while to type.
Please check a few things;
Use a browser and go to portal.office.com sign in with user@mydomain.com, and click on OneDrive, the URL should be something like https://newDomain-my.sharepoint.com/personal/user_mydomain_com, this is your new ODB site on the new subscrition and i am assuming you want to sync this.
If this is what you want to sync then check the Unlink/Reset instructions at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Fix-OneDrive-sync-problems-83ab0d8a-8400-45b0-8dcf-dc8aa8a6bcf8 and try signing in again after that.
Please ensure you have a back up of all the data that you had on the old OneDrive for Business site.
Hope this helps.
