Mac: OneDrive Couldn't Start: Please restart your computer and try again

for me a hard reset seemed to have done the trick, but it does remove all your synced drives unfortunately.. 

Run from Terminal:
/Applications/OneDrive.app/Contents/Resources/ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.command
