awong03 There is no one here who has more access than Microsoft. The OneDrive team has no presence here.
I am not sure where you encountered "Microsoft Chat" but you should contact Microsoft directly through the Help/Support links in the app/browser interface.
Please take some time to one of the many OneDrive tutorials online to understand how it works, and the difference between clearing space and deletion.
Also remember to keep backups in addition to OneDrive. If you don't know how to use cloud sync services like this then it is worthless as a backup.
