Windows 11 Global Mute (Windows + Alt + K) not working in New Microsoft Teams
- May 10, 2024It seems Microsoft is finally on the case. It's noted as "in development" and rollout should start in June 2024. Let's cross our fingers.

Looks like Microsoft pushed an update to New Teams and this shortcut is now working.
AS of June 24th 2024 It works for me. My teams version is below
You have Microsoft Teams version 24137.2216.2931.2440.
Ryan2569 can confirm, it's working for me now as well. Finally! My version is 24137.2216.2931.2440 as well
- Miguelus_PrimeJul 08, 2024Copper ContributorI have 24152.412.2958.9166 and still doesn't work... Is there anything I can do? Maybe reinstall it?

Miguelus_Prime Same issue for me with 24152.412.2958.9166. The global mute shortcut seems now to be recognized by teams, but it does not change the mute on the current teams meeting or on my speaker phone like it did with the old teams.

bulldog21 Little time after my post, New Teams showed an update message, I launch it and after the install started to work.
My version now is: 24165.1412.2980.1761

Miguelus_Prime I have the same version right now as well and it's working for me. Try fully closing and reopening teams, sometimes when it's misbehaving that does the trick for me. Otherwise try reinstalling, but maybe they're still in the process of rolling it out to everyone.
