Why remove/change the edit and delete button?

Why did Microsoft have to remove the edit and delete button, like just why?

You ran out of ideas and said "hey, let remove this innocent edit/delete button, because why not?"

Even if it can be enabled by the office 365 admin, why disable it in the first place????

Just why?
