Why can't I share Stream videos to the public?
I've spent ages making Stream videos, great with auto captions with a little tweaking, then only to discover that my nice videos won't play unless our students login? This is a real barrier to the service, can this be corrected please? We really need to have the ability to share externally please.
- Anonymous sharing is on the roadmap, but not till end of or Q4 2020 I think. So as others have said you have to use work around for now unfortunately.

Thanks Chris - yes there is a workaround, which is: as Panopto isn't supported, I used YouTube - downloaded the captions converted to srt and uploaded to YouTube. YouTube embeds work in Sway. If microsoft do sort it with better privacy options, there's a massive market in education as universities will need to make their videos accessible by law. ChrisWebbTech
- Stream doesn't support Azure B2B collaboration (guest user access) yet. The Stream developers said that they were looking at doing this when they discussed futures at the Ignite conference. Stay tuned, and in the interim, consider using SharePoint.

Thanks TonyRedmond - okay, I'm going to attempt to upload them to Panopto and convert the caption file from WebVTT to srt, hopefully that will work - thanks for the update though, much appreciated.
- Yeah! By downloading the file and put it in office365 then share it like normal will work , or if you upload it to any other service you prefer
