Web - favicon should change for notifications
Hi,
I use Teams in a browser and keep the tab pinned. This means that I cannot see any text that's part of the title. Teams does not currently change the favicon/tab icon whenever a notification occurs, which leads to missed messages.
I also use a pinned tab for Slack in my browser. Slack will change the icon from gray -> white for messages in a channel, and white with a red tab when I've been highlighted through a DM or am @mentioned; this gives me a much more clear indication if there's something that requires my attention.
Similar functionality would be a great addition to the Teams web app.
If someone has a better way to handle this situation, I'm keen to hear it.
Nick

- ninburaBrass ContributorI would appreciate this. Every other messaging application I use supports favicon notification badges (Telegram, Discord, Proton Mail, Outlook, etc)... except Teams.
- alubitzCopper ContributorI would much appreciate that feature as well! Especially since the Linux Desktop App was discontinued!
I use outlook in a pinned tab as well and that works just perfectly with the little red dot on top of the icon!
