Hi,
The only way to validate the external domain is working or not you will have to test it with one user with the SIP/Email address and check if you are able to see the presence and test the IM conversation. Services will only work if the federation is same on both the end.

Thanks Satish . But the challenging the part is we didn't know the few of the external email address / SIP to validate the domain, which is already added in external access. I can say its kind of clean up task to remove the unwanted domains which is not working the federation services
