Using bot to retrieve information from an API/ URL

Hello.

I've built an API that returns some data. For now, let's say it returns the time, date, and the location of the person calling the API through their browser.

I want to create a chat-bot which when pinged to from the teams channel, calls the API and displays the result. I know that I can do this using the tabs feature but I want to be able to call it from the channel itself.

Can this be done using power tools in team? If so, how?
