User unable to see all attendees under the people tab
Good morning,
We have a townhall every month and our HR team would like to see everyone who is currently joined in the meeting (usually 150+ attendees). When she opens the "People" tab it only displays some of the users and then "+97 more". The "+97 more" is not clickable to see those 97 more users.
Is there any other way to see the rest of the users currently attending the meeting?
Also all microphones and video camera's are disabled for this meeting besides the presenters.

- chatt003Copper ContributorThis problem still exists. Old (Classic) Teams would let us scroll through ALL attendees. New Teams stops scrolling at a some point and just says "+ XX more" with no option to see or make changes to the status of those XX more people.
This is not good when hosting a meeting with a large number of people and you need to add or remove presenter rights or mute someone who has unintentionally unmuted and is disturbing a meeting.- chatt003Copper Contributor
Update: Microsoft stated to our organization that the behavior that we see, where we are unable to view the attendees after a particular number during an ongoing call, is "by design behavior." New Teams will not show the entire list of attendees during an ongoing call in the peoples tab if there are more than 100 attendees in the meeting.
My comments:
- From a meeting organizer’s perspective during the meeting(!), why is the 101st person less important to see than the first 100? If I need to see whether a certain person is attending the meeting and there are 101+ attendees in the list, I cannot know if they are present without interrupting the proceedings and asking. Very poor design.
- An attendee list after the meeting is over is not actionable in real time during the meeting. Very poor design.
- New Teams is supposed to be an improvement, yet here it is less capable than Old Teams. Very poor design.
This is a great example of “by design” not reflecting good design.

- Interesting. Does this happen in the new teams or in the old teams? and do other users have the same issue?
- aborilloCopper ContributorThe user was in the old teams. I am going to test in the new Teams and Web once we have our monthly meeting again (I don't have 150+ people to join a meeting anytime soon lol). Only the one user reported it, but I don't think others would really try this.
