Unable to give control while on a screen sharing session in Teams.
On certain workstations in our organisation, we are unable to request/give control while on a screen sharing session in Teams.
The following message appears when trying to do so:
It's an inbuilt Intel graphics chip and there doesn't appear to be any way to turn on hardware acceleration. Also, please bear in mind that this affects multiple PCs.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

JC1231530 Haven't seen that before but make sure that you are using the latest drivers from Intel for your graphic card.

LinusCansby hi, I am facing same issue in my Teams app. Tried installing all latest intel drivers. The issue still persists and this is happening in multiple PCs for me.
Can you please suggest something to fix the issue.
Isha_Arora When you tried different PCs was it the same model of different models?
You could try to clear cache and/or reinstall Teams, I doubt that will help.

Next step would be to contact Microsoft Support and see if they can help.

I realize this is an old thread, but in case others come across this. If those machines' GPUs don't support hardware acceleration "The Give Control drop-down menu doesn't work unless hardware acceleration is supported on the system. This behavior is by design."
This thread shows you how you can check via the browser
