Two versions of notification settings in Teams?

Hi all,

both in the web and the desktop client of Teams the notification settings of our users look like the following:

However, I've seen documentation and screenshots showing the notification settings differently:

My desktop client version is 1.3.00.4461. Does anyone know how the notification settings should actually look like and what version is the one that is up to date?

I also don't see the "Shown Channels" notification settings described in this article in my view:

Thanks
Michael

  • Hi layer9de

Even I am on the same version as your and I see the Meeting Settings similar to your screenshot. It seems that Microsoft is rolling out the Feature slowly across all the different tenants.

    With Regards.

Thanks, so your notifications settings look like the one from the second screenshot? Did they ever look like the ones from the first screenshot in the past?

And do you also see the settings for "Shown Channels" like described here?

I only get the option of Followed Channel. I don't see the option of Shown Channel in the Microsoft Teams Application.
