Teams with Internal UPN problem
I'm having a little problem with Microsoft Teams.
When I launch the application for the first time on a user's computer it proposes directly as a user the upn and not the real external mail of the person.
If I delete the upn and I register the mail, it connects without problems.
Is it possible to use the mail field of the active directory in applications like Teams instead of the automatic upn
jfrobs If you have an internal domain like domain.local you can add alternative UPN suffixes.

I don't think that is possible. The recommendation is that e-mail address and SIP-address (Teams address) should match the UserPrincipalName. It will be easier for users if they match (as you noticed).
