Teams together mode limit - and then?

Hello Teams buddies,

I have a question and haven't found any answer in the forum yet.

Has the together mode a limit and what happens when it reachs the limit?

I read that the limit is 49 like in the large gallery. What happens wheren there are 50 or 70 participants in the meeting, will the option be greyed out or will be not all shown in the together mode?

We're planning a meeting with more than 49 participants and they would like to use it. But this is not easy and quick to test, I need minimum 50 persons  for this test! 😄

Thanks!

Best reagards

Update 2020-10-29 we had a Teams Meeting with around 80 participants. It was possible to activate the together mode. Not alle were visable but I'm not sure if the reason was that some hasn't switched on their camera.

Lars Roth I too am looking for this answer. Ideally what I would like is 50 active people visible regardless of participants based on audio input
