Yep, seeing the same behavior in my environment. I have a Pixel 8 Pro experiencing this same behavior and an older Samsung Note 10. I can share my screen on the Samsung phone but not on the Pixel. It does sound like an issue specific to the newer Pixel hardware.
I'm seeing the same on my Pixel 6 Pro with Android 14. It's just my test device, but so far I'm only seeing this error when screen sharing.
