Teams meeting requests

I've been playing around with teams meeting requests and have come up question that I can't find answer for on the web - hopefully someone might know the answer. So, if a meeting is scheduled in teams, (either through outlook or in the teams app) does anyone know how long the URL remains active? e.g. would it expire 14 days after use, after a year etc... also I know there's a lobby function but does anyone know if Microsoft are considering adding a make everyone wait in the lobby (even if they are part of the same organization) option? It was in S4B and seems silly it's not in teams!

  • I don't believe they expire, and on the other query, Microsoft is working on more options for the lobby and more meeting controls overall.

  • Hi johncushnie - hopefully someone jumps on here about more robust lobby options but I can tell you that the links don't seem to expire, at least not for quite a while. I just found a Teams meeting on my calendar from March and was still able to join.
