I've done nothing since Friday, so I suppose it was a case of waiting for it to take effect (but it shouldn't take that long!).
In our case we needed to simulate > 1 person clicking the meeting link. If it feels like the autoAdmittedUsers / lobbyBypassScope / lobbyBypassSettings attributes are ignored; open 2 (incognito) tabs (different browsers?) and paste in the url into both. First instance = appears stuck in the lobby; Second instance = the meeting is then started and both instances join. HTH
