Teams incorrectly thinks my "volume level is too low"

I am using my thunderbolt connected monitors' audio device.

It is an audio device that has an analog volume control (i.e, it doesn't have HID volume controls).

Every time I am in a Teams call, I see a popup window saying something like "Your volume level is low and you might not be able to hear... bla bla bla."

Well, yes, if I go into my Teams Device settings - I see that the volume level is exactly Zero - and cannot be modified - no surprise to me.

Can we fix this please? Surely Teams is able to see that there is not volume control for the active device?

The popup message keeps appearing, right over peoples faces... it's a pain.

Thanks.
