Team member's keyboard layout is wrongly interpreted during screen sharing with giving control

I have the same problem with US layout and the person who is sharing the screen uses German layout. It seems like in give control the keyboard scancode is transmitted instead of the actual character typed. Is there any known workaround?

    @e still have the same issue in Teams. Almost 2 years after the first report in this channel. Is there a solution to this issue?

      I opened a support case at MS (via our company) and they said, this will not be fixed.
      (Not sure if I am allowed to share more details here...)
