Staff email address is different (and wrong) in teams than anywhere else in MS365.

In Teams - when I hover over one staff member's photo, it shows an email address that is incorrect. When you invite her to a meeting from within teams, it bounces back as not existing. She does communicate through chat and video chat just fine in teams. 

I have searched the back ends of Admin, Azure, Exchange, etc. to remove that address. It no longer exists anywhere. 

I can't figure out how to get it out of her Teams account.
