Several questions about MS Teams on my phone

I've got a Galaxy S10. I've installed the Microsoft Teams app on it and have it connected (is that the right word) to my work MS Team. Well, now I'm on vacation for the Christmas/New Year's holidays. I really do not want to get notifications from work, while on vacay. At the moment I took the nuclear option and went into Settings on my phone to turn off all notifications from MS Teams. Is there a way of setting up Teams to know that I do not want notifications from any of my work teams, while I'm on vacation?

Second, unrelated question. I have the free version of Microsoft Teams for Windows 10 installed on my desktop at home. (I've got an Office 365 Home Edition license. I don't know if this is relevant or not - I mention it just in case it is.) How do I bring in my home Teams as another Teams into the Android version of MS Teams? I presume I can switch between work and home in some easy fashion, I'd like to know how it's done.

  • Regarding notifications, see here:

If You are a member of teams in different organisations! On in a free version and one in another You caneither from the Teams mobile app add another account so You can switch between them! This isnt supported on the web/desktop client yet.
You can Also invite your other account as a guest to the other team! You still have to switch between the different tenants though.
  • If you have another personal account and don’t want business notifications but personal just log into your personal account and leave it. You won’t get business notifications while in your personal tenant.

Quiet hours will quiet the current used tenant so I would just switch to personal tenant while your out and back when you get back to work.

Someday we’ll get notifications for both together but today you only get the tenant your currently using or last used on your device.
