Schedule Teams meetings from a third-party App (Acuity Scheduling)

Hello Teams Community,

We set out to replace Zoom with Teams recently, as we are already using Office365, and felt that this would be a better and more integrated solution. While we are adjusting well, there is one critical feature that we can't seem to find a solution for.

We maintain an online calendar in Acuity Scheduling, that allows the public to book specific online sessions for demos and other activities. Currently, we use the Zoom integration offered by Acuity Scheduling to take a new appointment and automatically integrate the Zoom call details into the meeting confirmation, and add it to our calendar. The Zoom integration works perfectly, and even syncs meeting time changes, cancellations, etc.

We also use Zapier for cross-platform integrations, and Zapier supports both Acuity and Teams. Since there is no Teams integration offered directly by Acuity, we tried to use the Zapier app as a bridge. Unfortunately, the only options in the integration are "Create Channel" and Send Channel Message." Another integration platform, Integromat, offers more options, but still, no "New Meeting" action is offered as part of the integration.

We're not tied to Acuity, we could switch to another provider, but this has worked flawlessly for the past 3 years. All we're looking for is a hosted calendar, that allows bracketing of time slots, creation of different meeting types of different lengths, and integration with Teams, so that when a user selects an open day/time, they, and we, receive notification by way of an email, and a link to the meeting. Again, Zoom does this flawlessly.

It may well be that Teams was envisioned as something completely different from Zoom, and that this capability does not exist natively. However if there were an integration that would virtually click on the "New Meeting" button and populate the meeting fields with the requisite information, we would sever ties with Zoom and move to Teams permanently. Any assistance or guidance is greatly appreciated.
