Recent windows 10 update causing problems with Teams Room?

One of our Teams room devices received an update on 7/14/2023. Ever since, the Teams room does not function correctly. Basically, the users cannot "wake up" the device for a scheduled meeting. On the Logitech Tap screen, it looks like the previous Teams meeting is still in session and the device is unresponsive. This has happened 2 Mondays in a row now. The only way to resolve the issue is to reboot the entire system.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed a change with their Teams room devices and if any settings need to be changed in Windows 10 to restore the room to its expected functionality.

  • I would report it to the vendor and check with them if they have a solution. As it is just one device.

Yes, we only have the issue with this single Teams Room device. It is the only room in our organization that has a Logitech Tap connected to a Lenovo 920q micro PC. We have tried to change the EDID settings on our HDMI extender as well just in case it is an issue with the HDMI signal.

I am going to schedule a reboot task for the PC, but that seems like I am just kicking the can down the road. Any other suggestions out there for making sure the Teams Room device can be used as expected?
