Re: 1:1 calls, user is muted as soon as PSTN ringing starts

I'm thinking about re-imaging my computer because of this, happens every time to certain numbers and I work phone support. Went back to old Teams but then New teams forced itself back onto my work system.

 

Would be great if they fixed this instead of just adding some more filters.

    I also got pushed to the new Teams. But once it pushed me, I still had the old Teams installed and went back to it. Hasn't prompted me since.

    ralley88 Don't do that. I don't think it will help.

     

    I learned from our Microsoft partner that it's a known issue with the new Teams, especially when using click to call. The timeline says that it should be fixed by the end of January.

     

    I was able to turn off the new Teams being rolled out to our company in the Teams Admin Center.

      I can agree with the fact, that the microphone is always muted, when the call is initiated by the click-to-dial App (I'm using Teams Wizard v.0.6.3.39728 and the new Teams App v23335.219.2592.8659).

        Manfred_MaulerYep agreed, I'm running new teams and have a Jabra engage 65. If I click a link from a website to dial a number the call starts muted. Tried again just copying the number into the teams app and dialing from there and it didn't start muted.
