Planner plans owned by Teams
LeonPavesic yes i know, but if you create a planner within a Teams/Office 365 group context the planner plan will be owned by that group and not by that user.. and each group can own 200 planner plan, ,regardless if the group creator owns other planner plans or not.. did you get my question/point?
Hi johnjohn-Peter,
I understand your point.
If a user creates a Planner plan within the context of a Teams/Office 365 group, the ownership is associated with that group, and each group can own up to 200 Planner plans, independent of the plans owned by the individual user who created the group.
So, to clarify, if a user is a member of multiple Teams or owns many Teams, the Planner plan limit is still 200 plans per group, not per individual user. Creating additional Teams doesn't provide a way to surpass the 200 Planner plans limit for a specific group. The limit is enforced at the group level, regardless of the user's ownership or membership across different groups.
