    Hi KirstinBosworth,

In order to locate the original "Organizational Home Team" in Microsoft Teams, you can try the following techniques:

    1. Review recent activity: Open Microsoft Teams ond the Web as Teams Admin (Global Admin) and try to view events in the "Activity" tab and try to look for any recent changes or activities related to the "Organizational Home Team". This may provide some info about changeing its name or actions taken on it.

    2. Use the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center to access the audit logs. Look for any activities or changes related to the "Organizational Home Team", such as renaming or deletion. The audit logs can help track the history of the team and provide insights into its current status (if it is turned on).

Search the audit log for events in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Purview (compliance) | Microsoft Learn

If you need to create a new home team for the entire organization, you can use the following options:

      1. Set up a new Microsoft Teams team as the home team for the organization. Configure the necessary settings and channels to align with the desired structure and functions.

Create a team from scratch in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support

      2. Automated membership: automatically add new staff members to the home team.
This can be achieved through dynamic membership in Azure.
