Notification settings oddities?

Teams mobile app for Android, 1416/1.0.0.2019072402, with phone system/calling plan.

As I'm trying to wrap my head around the notification settings, I came across this oddity:

  1. Why are there 2 identical notification classes listed? (I have them set differently)
  2. What exactly is an "ongoing call" notification anyhow?
  3. There used to be a notification setting for "Incoming Calls" but that's no longer there - is that handled differently now?
  4. Any pointers as to where these settings might be documented?

I have the same version installed on my Pixel 2, where your first Ongoing Calls is, my phone display Incoming Calls as Off. Maybe try uninstalling the app and reinstalling. Maybe something got corrupted.
  • Without looking at my phone I assume an Ongoing call notification is a notification that stays in your notification drawer whilst your on a call. This has the benefit of getting back to your call when you navigate away from teams to check your Outlook.

As for why there is two? No idea. Maybe the horrible "Mute/Unmute" notification from Skype4B is making a comeback?
