Notifcation Badge in Windows 11 Taskbar won't go away.
Howdy, everyone.
I'm currently in an annoying situation where the taskbar shows the notification badge as if I had an unread message, even though I do not. I have two accounts and I've swapped between them and this phenomenon occurs with both.
I have tried:
- Restarting Teams
- Restarting my PC
- Reinstalling teams
- Marking the chats as unread and then reading them
- Logging into the browser version and doing the above

The question was tagged as applying to Teams. I have the same problem.
I don't want to turn off notification badges; I just want for Teams to not show one when there aren't any.But when he got there, the cupboard was bare!
Deleted That solution breaks the functionality of taskbar badges - which is even worse.
