New Teams Freezes when attempting to join Meetings / Calls
As the title indictates - this is my problem. It's occurring for one end user.
I've completed the following solutions to solve this problem none have worked:
- Close Teams completely: On Windows: Right-click on the Teams icon in the system tray (bottom right corner) and select Quit. I also ended all background task in task manager.
- Ensure you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams installed. Outdated software can cause stability issues. On Windows: Go to Settings > About > Check for updates.
- Cleared Teams Cache - %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams deleted all files and folders in cache folder.
- Reinstalled Teams - I reinstalled x64 bit AND x32. x32 worked for a few days then the issue reappared.
- Windows OS being the most up to date.
Are there any other suggestions to solve this problem? The laptop has more than enough available resources to run Teams.
- ThomasStridCopper ContributorI have the same problem with my client. Freeze and i tried clearing cache, uninstall, repair and it still does not work.
- MichaelSpeightsCopper ContributorHey Thomas,
