New teams app is extremely slow to start on Mac

Question

The new version of the Teams app is extremely slow to start it can take up to 1-2 minutes to get it running and join a call, why is it so slow? It wasn't like this before, and now I need to prepare a couple of minutes before joining a meeting because it takes such a long time to start. Is there any solution, do you plan on optimize the app?

Fosse83&nbsp;Extraordinary lack of support replies here. Microsoft where are you ?&nbsp;1-2 mins to load Teams on MacOS is embarassing.&nbsp;

I have the same issue. I have tried uninstalling new MS Teams as well as clearing all the MS teams related files and caches in my profile Library fold and reinstalling with no improvement.

I've tested startup times and the MS Teams classic take ~10-15 seconds to start up where as new MS Teams take over 60 seconds to start up.

I am using an i9 MacBook Pro with 16Gb of RAM.

mangov&nbsp;AdamPridmore2255&nbsp;Did you find any other solution? I am having the same issues with the new teams application when connected to a docking station. The client is very slow, while the old client is fully functional.&nbsp;

I'm seeing&nbsp;the same issue, on an M3 Macbook pro with 32gb RAM. The new teams app is incredibly slow to start. When it says "just another minute" as it loads, it really does mean that!I also only saw this recently, with the most recent versions of New Teams.&nbsp;The startup feels quite clunky in general. I wonder if it's waiting for something network-related. Perhaps some slow Microsoft server somewhere?! Any ideas for how to improve this would be much appreciated.
