New Teams - Video freezing
I recently found myself with this issue, I am shocked how long it has been going on for. I believe I was able to take care of it by using the default graphics settings on Windows 11. Click on the start button, and search for "Graphics", you are looking for -> "Graphics Settings".
When the panel opens, it may or may not have any apps, my main system does not. Make sure the drop down has "Desktop app" selected and click 'Browse' and navigate to the ms-teams.exe. Not sure if it always saved in the same place but my path was "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MSTeams_24277.3507.3205.5228_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\ms-teams.exe" Once selected, click 'Add'.
Teams will now appear on the Graphics Settings menu. Click options and set to 'Power Saving' using the integrated graphics card.
Click 'Save'.
I also made sure to turn off 'Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling', then restart the system to save the changes. After that, all calls using screen sharing afterwards has been working without any freezing.
I hope this helps!
