New Teams - Video freezing

Some additional info that might help others. You may need to stop more than the Nahimic service if the library causing the issue is being loaded by another service. In my case, I have an Alienware headset that was causing the issue. To resolve it, I needed to stop the AWHeadet service.

 

You can get a hint to what the service might be by looking at where the BlackApps.dat file is located. For Alienware it was under: C:\ProgramData\AWHeadset\DellInc.AlienwareSoundCenter\Modules\ScheduledModules\Configurator

 

Changes to the BlackApps.dat file might be reverted each time the program using the file is updated. In the case of the Alienware headset this was each time the service started so stopping and disabling the service was the only way to resolve it.
