I fixed it! I have an Alienware laptop, and I remembered another app that had complained about a DLL that gets inserted when hardware-accelerated apps run.

I edited BlackApps.dat to add 2 lines:
ms-teams.exe
msedgewebview2.exe
Then I rebooted and was able to successfully do a test call, which I hadn't been able to do before.

Thanks for finding a fix. I remember reading an article about multiple issues caused by Nahimic. It's hard to understand why any OEM would still use it, especially when looking at that black list. Imagine how many human hours were wasted trying to troubleshoot an issue in one of those apps...

- Rob_ICP_AZDec 01, 2023Brass ContributorYou can remove Nahimic, but don't do it if you have anything other than a basic 2-channel sound setup, or you'll lose the ability to balance your channels' levels and delay, use EQ, etc.
