Solved

New files experience. Where did the other create options go? I can see Word, Folder, Link.

Is this correct? Do I have to go do some fiddling in SPO to add content types?

DazzaR hmm. Looking in SPO I had to go to the edit new menu and untick everything and click save. Then edit again and tick everything and save it. Back to Teams and click off the Files tab and back again. Fixed
