MS Teams Select Background outside of conference call

If you go in Calendar, then in the top right corner you click 'Meet now's, if you go in 'Start meeting' you'll get the same preview as if you were joining a meeting with someone else.
I can't believe it's been 3 years, and the the best response from this thread is still the best option... Is MS on this website at all? It's a commonly searched question according to Google.
The problem is that the people that make the decision to buy Microsoft are not the people using it. As a consumer, I'd be running fast away from Microsoft, probably towards Google's products that are at least designed web-first and collaboration-first from the start. I'm not a huge fan of Google's material design and finding where to change a setting between all the "user profile", "Settings", "...", etc. menus is sometimes a nightmare there too, but overall it's still a much better experience than the Microsoft ecosystem.
