Monitoring for chats...
StevenC365 sorry to interrupt but I can't find how to create new threads / messages. Can you help please? And how will you reply to me? I have been given a profile but not an @ID.
(I have a major problem and no one in the Microsoft Community can help.)

You have to navigate all the way down into a sub community. For example this one here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/bd-p/MicrosoftTeams then you get a Start New conversation button right there at the top, not hard to miss. If you don't see it then you probably have to verify your e-mail or something like that, but since you are replying to this thread, you already probably have done that. Not sure what you mean by @id, by replying to this it populates, which you will see when I hit reply.

ChrisWebbTech Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated. My reason for asking is that since last November I've been experiencing ongoing problems and I asked in the MS Community how I could escalate to what I wrongly described as Tech Services, as we used to be able to do. I was told by an Independent Adviser that "ordinary" users can no longer escalated problems. I pointed out to him that we "ordinary users" are in fact paying customers of Microsoft.
When I create it, is it acceptable for me to give a short background and then give the URL of my MS Community thread?
PS. I thought that you used twitter-like handles and '@Id' had already popped up in the first conversation that I saw.
