Missing send button in chat in teams app on Android
I have just tried to send a message in the app on my phone, only to notice that the send button is missing! I can type and navigate all the menus, just no send button. It worked fine last week, but the update seems to have removed the send button or put it off screen. Is anyone else having the same issue?
UPDATE:
After experimenting with the screen resolution settings in the Samsung settings menu I discovered that a) changing the resolution does not fix it but b) changing screen zoom does. Mine apparently was fully "zoomed in". Zooming out slightly shows that the send button had fallen off the right hand side of the screen. Annoyingly zooming out also makes the font really small for everything so I still have to have the button cut off slightly to make reading things on my phone possible, but I can now access the send button.
TL;DR: on Samsung S10+ search for "screen resolution" in your settings, then crank the screen zoom down a little May work for other Samsungs.

Same issue, Galaxy S20 FE. Send button (arrow pointing right) is replaced by line return button (bent arrow pointing down then left) as soon as the user clicks in the reply text box or types anything. User can add as many empty lines as they want, but cannot send anything.
Following actions were taken to attempt to resolve (all were unsuccessful):
- Uninstall Gboard keyboard, switch to default Samsung keyboard
- Shift, capslock, number/symbol modes were tried
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Teams
- Cleared app cache
- Adjusted Screen Zoom
- Adjusted Font size and style
- Said all the bad words I know

Hi there, I have the same issue and I only noticed this yesterday February 2nd. Happy to learn I'm not the only one experiencing this. Any ideas on how to resolve this. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall?
- Chrisander725Copper ContributorI started having the same problem yesterday too. Tried everything including adjusting screen resolution but it didn't work.

Changing ZOOM and/or Font size does not fix the issue on my Android Phone -- Redmi Note 7. Teams is unusable now on my phone.

heatherwalker Thank you. These instructions were accurate and worked for me. However, the fonts and icons are now a little smaller, which is not good for those of us who need the zoom. I hope Microsoft fixes this bug soon so we can change our phone back to the zoom setting we need.
- Chrisander725Copper ContributorAdjusting display zoom down one enabled me to see the arrow. Thanks! Still wish MS would fix since I prefer larger Zoom.

heatherwalker on my MotoG 6, the only thing that would work is setting font size to small in the settings \ accessibility. Of course, it makes the font in all apps virtually unreadable... Really not a solution.

Jay_Avitable and now, after restarting my phone, even "small font" does not solve the issue. Android 9 here, if that matters.
- MlealtooCopper ContributorI'm having the same exact issue. Worked last week and now it does not.
- KricksterCopper ContributorWhy hasn't anyone with MS addressed this here??
Same issue. Samsung S20+
This is a serious issue! I can't reply to my teams when critical issues occur!!! Unless I have computer nearby or I setup a text group. Which defeats the purpose of having teams!- RonMasonCopper ContributorYou should follow this one as well. MS Support did respond on it.

I dropped one level of zoom and it showed the microphone. When I typed in chat, microphone changed to the send button.
