Microsoft teams audit concerns

It seems there's been a discrepancy in Teams where your name appeared as the person who removed individuals at the channel level, while the expected person's name showed at the team level. This poses a serious audit concern. Has anyone else experienced this issue in Teams before? This is in a team in teams with private channels.
