Lost access to making new folder
HiK_Williams_20 ,
Someone has probably turned off the new folder option, within the default documents library of the SharePoint Site backing the Team in question.
So presuming you have access:
Files Tab > Open In SharePoint > Ensure you are within the context of the Documents Library (you should be) > Click gear icon top right > Library Settings > Advanced Link > turn on new folder
However I would question if someone has done this intentionally but just not informed everyone as Folders are seen as a Taboo in the world of SharePoint :). I am not saying where I sit, just saying :).
Thanks
Henry

Hi K_Williams_20 ,
Just thinking out loud, has anyone been messing with the permissions also, as that could probably do the trick also.
Oh and do you have the option to create a Folder when just within SharePoint. I suppose my point here, is that if you can't in SharePoint you will not be able to in Teams, so start there.
Thanks
Henry

Hi K_Williams_20 ,
Mmmm, that is odd. Had a quick check and I am pretty sure there is no Teams specific setting for it, it just follows suit from the SharePoint configuration.
Could you advise the URL of the library please. don't ask. Just do the bit after the site which should prevent you sharing anything sensitive.
So for example: Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspxThanks
