Live events removed from Teams app?

Hi

I'm looking to host a webinar with Microsoft Teams, but I noticed that the option to create a live event was removed in the app. Until last week it was possible to create a live event on the app of Teams. However, it is still available in the web browser of Teams. 

 

On the image bellow, you see the web version and the app version. The arrow next to "nieuwe vergadering" or translated: "new meeting" is missing in the app.

 

Anyone noticed as well? Is this an update? Should I look to other solutions to host a webinar?

    Hi JorenDK 

     

    Can you please check with the settings on the Teams Admin Center? If you are using the Office 365 version of Microsoft Teams please confirm if the below settings is configured for the account 

     


    If the above settings are configured accordingly then you might have to raise a Support Case to investigate the same.

        Hi JorenDK 

         

        Seems to be some issues on the Microsoft Server. Can you please raise a Service Request for the same. There is already some on-going issues on the Microsoft Teams Servers. It could be affecting you too.
