Is there a way to get profile pictures to show up in chats and posts
Hi mugshotmike,
thanks for the Update.
If you change to New Microsoft Teams, you will still have the ability to change back to classic Teams (at least until 31. March 2024 when all classic Microsoft Teams users will be automatically changed to the New Teams).
I recommend you to test if this issue is connected with the use of classic Microsoft Teams client and the new Microsoft Teams.
You can simply switch back to classic Microsoft Teams by clicking on the Windows start button > by searching for teams > clicking on the Microsoft Teams classic.
- mugshotmikeFeb 14, 2024Copper ContributorHey, Leon, I just found out that I am currently on the new Teams app. I couldn't find out if I was or wasn't until I clicked the switch to go to new Teams and found out that I was already on it. So, we're still having troubles with getting profile pictures to show up in chats and channels, we're all on new Teams, and I've cleared the cache as you suggested. Thanks for sticking with me on this. It seems that there is an administrator setting that is preventing this, but I can't find the path to that setting. Do you know how I can find it?

Hi mugshotmike,
thanks for the update.
I really don't think that some Admin settings are blocking the pictures. When this was true you could not be able to see the pictures anywhere (and you can see them in Microsoft Teams on the Web).
This is a problem with the Microsoft Teams client.
This is what you can do:
1) Sign out of the new Microsoft Teams client. The Microsoft Teams will restart.
Then sign in to Microsoft Teams.2) Switch back on the classic Microsoft Teams and check if the pictures are there

LeonPavesic I discovered that Teams Classic displays the pictures, but New Teams does not. I will probably contact Microsoft Support for their input. Thanks for all your help.
