Does the administrator have the option to prevent latecomers from joining the conference?
Unfortunately we do not have an option of Locking the Microsoft Teams Meeting so that we can prevent the late comers from joining the meeting. But as a workaround you can do the following:-
1. Make the setting in the Microsoft Teams Admin Center and Enable Meeting Lobby for all the users. Here is the link for the same.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/meeting-policies-in-teams2. After the start of meeting you can allow certain specific people who all join on time and the late comers would be stuck in Lobby as per the setting.
Using the above workaround you can achieve some of the functionality you are looking for.
