Internal deep links to office docs not work from chat in new pop-out meetings

Hey, When I post a link to an office doc to collaborate within teams the links posted to the chat do not work when I have the 'new' teams set to on in preferences (the meeting window is seperate from the teams window).

1. copy link from files.

2. paste in the chat (you can click on it but does not anything)

When I switch back to the old way of using teams (meeting window is part of teams) than the links do work.

Is this a bug?
