Images in team chat

When chatting in teams it is possible to send images (great!) however when you click the files tab at the tin any images you have sent in chat don’t appear in there? If you attach a document such as a pdf then that appears but not images. Is there a way to get images to save to the files tab or create another tab for the images.

We send lots of screen grabs out and and receive lots of images so scrolling back through chats is gonna be very tiresome.
