I can't find the setting to block the sending of files in the Teams chat.

VyacheslavLev23 There isn't a setting, neither guests or external users can ever send a file through Chat, take a look they don't get an option.

They can insert images, there's nothing you can do to stop that but the images are purely stored in the Teams datastore, they won't become part of your SharePoint.
